Demon Blue is an interesting little platform game. You control a little demon who's aim is to collect all the keys scattered around the level and find the exit. Easy ? No. Not at all. The game is very difficult, and requires absolute precision when leaping from platform to platform. This is incredibly frustrating as you have to ascend most of the level, and one loose jump means you will be sent crashing back down to the bottom of the level - which is not a lot of fun having spent ages getting so far up. The graphics are great and it plays quite well, but the level design and difficulty spoil it somewhat. Shame, as this has the makings of a great game.

The final level is complete!

The End.

HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?: Using an infinite lives and keys cheat.

SO WHAT HAPPENS?: After a lot of jumping and exploring I finally found the exit. Once you go through it, you get a jolly little tune and the words 'THAT'S ALL FOLKS. THE END'. The game then restarts.

COMMENTS:

  • Neil: The game should have been great, but instead it's very frustrating with a kick in the teeth at the end. Don't torture yourselves guys. Play something else. 1/10.

  • Vinny: I know the game is frustrating, but with the cheat on it's fun to play :-)

As for the ending... oh dear. Oh dear me :( 1/10.

FINAL SAY: Argghhhhh !!! I found the ending very painful after all that hard work.

G.E. RATING: 1 / 10
