Deadly Evil by Players is a very basic platformer that has you in the role of the gallant knight who has to find his beloved princess and bring her back to safety.

It's a strange little game that appears to be a poor-man's Ghouls n Ghosts. With clunky controls, lacklustre game play, and flat graphics, it's ever a wonder why I  think this is anything like Ghouls n Ghosts! Actually - thinking about it, it's more a poor-man's Prince Clumsy by Codemasters!

I do wonder why I ever bothered with this game...

You find the Princess at the end of the level...

...and she follows you all the way back to the beginning!

The End.

HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?: I ripped this one to pieces by going through the code and making myself a load of cheats, which you can find HERE.

SO WHAT HAPPENS?: Once you've found the Princess, you need to guide her back to the entrance on level 2. Once you reach the entrance/exit, the ending message appears, which reads: "WELL DONE. YOU HAVE RESCUED THE PRINCESS BUT WHO WILL RESCUE HER FROM YOU."

  • Vinny: To be honest with you, I wasn't expecting anything more than a basic, static screen ending message, and that's EXACTLY what I got. 0.5/10 from me.
  • Gaz Spence: And who will rescue us from another awful ending?
  • Andy Vaisey: Rubbish game with an equally rubbish ending. Avoid.
  • Andrew Fisher: Pass me my lance. I need it to push this terrible game and its poor ending away from me.
  • Brendan Phoenix: The title sums up the ending!

FINAL SAY: It wasn't going to be anything else :(

G.E. RATING: 0.5 / 10
