I'm not a fan of the Double Dragon games and never have been, and so obtaining this game ending was always going to be a struggle unless I had a cracked version of the game that allowed me to skip straight to the ending ;-)

So without further a do, here it is ...

And so the story comes to a close ...

... and our heroes complete their quest.

The End. "ROLL THE CREDITS!"

Round and round they go.

HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?: Come on now! You know me? Always one to cheat when I can :-) I used a cracked version that took me straight to the ending - LOOOOOOOOOOOVELY.

SO WHAT HAPPENS?: The first ending screen presents the outside of a pyramid with the words, "THE HEROS SWORE THEY WOULD GIVE CLEOPATRA'S TREASURE TO CHARITY .". After a few seconds, the next ending screen shows our heros looking very menacing and the words, "WHEN THE THIRD STONE IS FOUND IT'S POWER WILL CHANGE THE WORLD." Finally, the third ending screen displays the DOUBLE DRAGON 3 title graphics and the credits start to scoll upwards.

The scrolling text is very funny and adds a humorous touch to the final sequence of this game.

There is also a fitting piece of game ending music to finish it all off.

COMMENTS: So I'm not too impressed with the actual game, but I am impressed with this ending; it deserves some recognition for its efforts: nice graphics, music and humorous text.

FINAL SAY : It's worth a look or two.
