Hands up who's gone through a truck load of
Quickshot Joysticks thanks to Daley Thompson's
decathlon? There must be a Joystick Graveyard out there
FULL of joysticks thanks to Mr Thompson and his joystick
waggling games. And so, it makes you wonder if Ocean
actually had shares in Quickshot and that another
joystick waggle Daley Thompson game was going to help
rake it in for them - in more ways than one!
I've never actually had
the pleasure of playing this game, but judging by the
ZZAP64 score of 79%, maybe I was right to stay away.
Saying that - the award ceremony / ending is actually
very good...

Daley bows his head
to receive his medal...

...and proudly
straightens up to reveal his prize (oo-er, missus).

Facing left...

...the British flag
is raised and the national anthem is played...

...whilst white doves
ascend onto the blue skies.

The End.
HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?:
I think Stadium64 just played through as normal. Now
there's a first for C64endings!
SO WHAT HAPPENS?:
We get to see Daley Thompson receiving his medal (via
full animation) and then the British flag is raised and
the national anthem is played. White doves are released
into the skies in a similar vain to Summer Games.
The screen then changes to reveal the words: "WELL
DONE! YOU HAVE WON A BRONZE MEDAL" and your Bronze
Medal is displaying together with lots of animated
fireworks.
