Webmaster:
Many thanks to Matt for sending in this ending. It's
over to Matt for the low down ...
Matt:
"Thought I'd have a crack at this one. In the old days I
could get to the end and beat the instructor, but the
final mission always proved too hard."

'Kick his butt!'

'YOU MADE IT'

'Looks like the
American Embassy'

'Run for your life!'. The
End.
HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?
Matt: "Tried to get to the end
normally today and found it impossible on keys!!
Couldn't get past the third level - Atari pressure pad
joystick required!!! So, naturally, I found a copy with
every cheat available."
SO WHAT HAPPENS?
Matt: "If you not familiar with it,
once you beat the instructor it tells you what you think
is your final score and rank before a message flashes up
that "Terrorists have taken over - rescue the hostages".
You then have to complete a horizontal scroller with
terrorists rushing at you and throwing knives. All you
can do is kick and jump - not good! Anyway, once you get
to the end you have to beat up two, what look like,
biker-boys. Once they're down ...I leave that for you to
find out."
COMMENTS:
Webmaster: This ending isn't going to win any
awards: it's quick, it doesn't really have an ending
tune, and there aren't any ground-breaking effects.
What the ending does seem
to do is to offer the game player a little piece of
satisfaction: the game has ended and it's time to switch
off.
The programmers could have
done a little more to this ending such as adding a
Martin Galway ending tune that ROCKS, along with an
ending storyline that says a little more than 'YOU MADE
IT'.
FINAL SAY:
It's an 'OK' ending (",)
