I had NEVER heard of this game until I stumbled upon it on Gamebase 64. It's not really my type of game and I was only really interested in seeing the game ending because the actual game graphics looked really cool.

So, armed with my trusty "view end sequence NOW" version of the game I went STRAIGHT to the end sequence (",)

"NEVER under estimate the power of the force!"

SO WHAT HAPPENS?: The screen opens with a SUPERBLY drawn picture of Darth Vader (obviously one of the in-game characters) and some clearly defined music. Credits then start to scroll up and present the story ending in words. The scrolling credits finally end leaving the music to continue on for a few more minutes.

The final scrolling message (ripped straight from the game's code) reads: WELL DONE!! IT IS HARD TO BELIEVE- YOU HAVE FINALLY MADE IT TO BECOME A MEMBER OF THE HIGH CLUB. YOU HAVE QUICKLY TRAVELLED TO CELLUX, WHERE YOU ARE AWARDED YOUR OFFICIAL TITLE AT THE CONFERENCE ROOM OF THE STATION. AFTER SOME AMAZINGLY SHORT HOURS, THE CEREMONY HAS ENDED. MOST MEMBERS START TO EXCHANGE EXPERIENCES, YOU TALK TO A LOT OF IMPRESSIVE PERSONS, BUT SUDDENLY, A SERVANT BREAKS INTO THE ROOM:'WAR!!' HIS SHOUT LETS THE VOICES DIE AWAY. SILENCE. 'HE HAS DONE IT! HIS WARNINGS WEREN'T FAKE! JAMESON HAS TAKEN ALL HIS SQUADROONS AND ATTACKS ALL COLONIES!' 'JAMESON.' SAYS THE SPEAKER IN A LOW VOICE 'THAT BASTARD IS BACK 'THE SPEAKER ANNOUNCES: 'WE MUST STOP HIM -RETURN TO YOUR BASE IMMEDIATELY (...)'ALL THE MEMBERS RUN IN PANIC TO THEIR SHIPS, AND START TO FLY BACK TO THEIR HOME STATIONS. WHEN YOU ARRIVE BACK AT ANTARES, YOU CAN ONLY WATCH THE EXPLOSIONS ON THE BURSTING STATION. IN THE DEPTHS OF YOUR SOUL YOU SWEAR TO TAKE REVENGE FOR ALL THOSE POOR CIVILISTS THAT WERE KILLED - ON ANTARES AND EVERY- WHERE ELSE...COLONIAL TRADER ! ..A VISLOGIC GAME DESIGNED BY: MAXIM SZENESSY THANKS FOR PLAYING THIS GAME TO THE END HOPE YOU'VE ENJOYED IT THIS GAME WON'T BE THE LAST ONE I HAVE MADE ON THIS GREAT MACHINE (...) COMMENTS: This is a very clear and effective game ending which looks and sounds great. I really enjoyed the music which continued passed the scrolling credits and the atmosphere it promoted was vitalising. The programmer (Maxim Szenessey has really thought this one through and produced a nice ending.
