I remember buying an original of this game back in 1991 without even knowing anything about the game itself. I was pleasantly surprises when I loaded up the game and found that it was quite good. Unfortunately, I never managed to complete it and I had to wait 18 years before I could play a version with a trainer built in :)


The final level is complete!

HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?: I used a cracked version of the game that house a level-skip cheat :)

SO WHAT HAPPENS?: Once the final Cloud Kingdom is completed, a game ending screen appears, which reads: "WELL DONE/ ALL KINGDOMS ARE COMPLETED! YOUR MISSION IS A SUCCESS. FOR YOUR EFFORTS YOU EARN A 100000 POINT BONUS!" This screen is accompanied by an ending tune.

COMMENTS:

  • Vinny: If I'd actually complete this game back in 1991, I would have been very impressed that it had this ending. It's colourful, well constructed, and the music is cool. I may be scoring it too high, but 5 seems to be a reasonable score for this ending :)

  • Andrew Fisher: Pretty good, never got far into the game.

  • Andy Vaisey: Well, on the surface it's a standard 'Well Done' type screen, but at least there's some extra colour on display and the tune is decent enough. Better than some other simple ending screens, but only just...

  • Brendan Phoenix: Pretty much went Andy said - colourful writing gets a bit tiresome, but there is just enough in there to scrape a 5/10.

FINAL SAY: It's kind of satisfying, but could have been better.
