I first played this game on the Amiga at which point it became one of my favourite platformers. I was delighted to see that the Commodore 64 version was also a quality game that demanded respect. The game really packs some punches and ticks all the boxes of a true platformer experience. My hat goes off to the programming team who produced a really fun game. So is the game ending also of high quality...

The End.

HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?: Brendan used a cheat to go right to the end sequence.

SO WHAT HAPPENS?: The final level is completed and the screen flicks over to a shot of Chuck and his lady-friend, with a bashed dinosaur in the background.

  • Brendan: I used a cheat to go right to the end sequence and glad I did - a static screen shot, no music, no scrolling message - just that picture.
  • Vinny: I love the ending picture, but where is the ending tune and epilogue?! It's soooo lifeless and belongs in the Stone age.
  • Andy Vaisey: A tidy enough game let down again by a shoddy ending. Shame...
  • Andrew Fisher: Nice picture, just a shame it seems so simple after the generally high standard of the rest of the game.

FINAL SAY: A real letdown :(
