This game REALLY worked for me: great music, good
puzzles and clearly defined gameplay - sorted! On top of
all that, I was a BIG Firebird Software collector and so
I would have purchased this game whether it was good or
not. Unfortunately not everyone held this game in the
same high-regard as me and back in 1985, ZZAP 64 gave
the game an overall rating of 70% - the swines!
I was fortunate to
complete the game way back in the 80s and amazingly
enough I managed it WITHOUT the cheat. Since completing
it (almost 20 years ago now) I haven't once loaded the
game up to play and so it was refreshing to have the
ending sent to me by David Craddock (a legend in his own
right), which brought back some good game-playing
memories for me.
Anyway, enough babble,
here is the ending courtesy of David ...

CRAZY COLOURS! The End.
HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?:
I'm not quite sure how David completed this one, but I
do know that it is possible to complete it WITHOUT a
cheat c(",).
SO WHAT HAPPENS?:
Once you enter the final room, the screen goes green
(groovy) and a FANTASTIC Rob Hubbard ending soundtrack
fires up - AMAZING!
A scrolling message
appears in the middle of the screen, which reads, "THE
MISSION HAS BEEN SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED AND
CONGRATULATIONS ON A JOB WELL DONE: YOU MAY NOW LOOK
FORWARD TO PANDORA; THE GIGAGAME; ALSO BY S:AHMAD".
COMMENTS: I
know that a few of you will disagree with my rating on
this one, but it really hits the spot for me, what with
the SUPERB Rob Hubbard tune, and plus it brings back
that exhilarating experience of completing the game for
the first time. So really, this is quite a personal
rating for me and I am happy to display other comments
about this ending if you wish to email them to me (webmaster@c64endings.co.uk).
FINAL SAY: I can't
help but like it c(",).
