So there's me thinking "if the
UK version of this
game was good, then it's inevitable that the US version
was going to follow suit". WRONG. The US version of
Cabal isn't anywhere near as polished as the UK version.
It's lacking in every aspect and is a total letdown for
the US Commodore 64 gaming public. Why they didn't just
release the UK version in the US is beyond me. Anyway -
following in the fashion of being a crap game, is a crap
ending...

Our hero has one
final mission...

Everything
disappears...

The End.
HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?:
CHEATED! Infinite every things and a level skip :-)
SO WHAT HAPPENS?:
Once you polish off the final boss, everything
disappears, and the ending message appears, which reads:
"FROM THE OFFICE OF THE COMMANDER: Good work,
soldier. We commend you for your bravery in halting the
armed forces of the terrorists. Return to headquarters,
your next mission awaits you."
