Bionik Granny Returns is a remake/enhancement of the
dreadful Mastertronic title 'Bionic
Granny' that was released way back in 1984. The
original Bionic Granny was one of the first ever games I
purchased for my Commodore 64, and I used to play it to
death! I now look back at the game and wonder why I
spent SO MUCH time playing such a cack game!
Anyway - thanks to the C64
boy-genius that is
Richard Bayliss, we can now play the game with
enhanced graphics, sonix, gameplay, and extra levels!
Bionik Granny Returns is a great little game and one
that will keep you hooked for hours.
So what of the ending...
Ah! A Bobby on the
beat...
Bionik Granny is up
for a rumble!
PC McPlod 'aint 'aving
any of it!
Bionik Granny is
reluctant to give in...
...and neither is Pc
McPlod.
"Come on Granny!
Kick his head in!"
"Open uuuuup -
it's the pigs"

The End!
HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?:
I hacked my way to the end and used the following cheat:
First start the game
on level 1 and then either:
-
reset the C64 and then type 'SYS 28672' or;
-
freeze using an Action Replay Cartridge (ALT+F) and
go to the monitor and type: 'G 7000' (which goes to
location $7000) or;
-
if
you're using VICE, got to the monitor (ALT+M) and
type: 'GOTO 7000' (which goes to location $7000)
SO WHAT HAPPENS?:
Once you have completed the final hectic ending, you are
taken to the streets where a policeman is waiting for
Bionik Granny to pass by. He is full intent on punishing
her (oo-er, missus), but doesn't quite get his chance.
This is accompanied by an ending tune.
Once the ending animation
is complete, we are treated to a 'CONGRATULATIONS'
screen that features a closing message and scroller,
along with another ending tune.
