This game never managed to get an official release
due to Codemasters pulling out of the C64 games market.
But thanks to the game's programmer, Nick Taylor, the
game was made available via mail-order.
A cute little game with a
nice little ending (though short). I actually completed
this game using a trainer version as you will find out
when you download the file. All I had to do was tap the
"Commodore Key" to skip each level until I got to the
final sequence! Cool eh?

Here comes the Queen Bee to congratulate you (",)

And there you have it. The End.
HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?:
I cheated! Just in
case you wondered what the cheat mode is: On the title
screen type "GRELLANDFALLA". The Codemasters logos
will turn brown to indicate that the cheat is now
active. Now press <F7> to skip the current level.
SO WHAT HAPPENS?:
Once you complete the final level, we see the bee
finally returning to his/her hive with a big smile. The
ending message reads: "CONGRATULATIONS! YOU HAVE
COMPLETE THE WHOLE GAME."
COMMENTS:
- Vinny:
I know this ending isn't brilliant, but
I really loved seeing it when I completed (cheated!) the
game. It's unfortunate the it doesn't have a separate
ending tune, but it still looks cool :)
-
Andrew Fisher:
It's a nice little game, a real shame it didn't get
a proper commercial release.
As for the ending, it could have done with a bit
more action and a new tune. 4/10.
-
Gaz Spence:
Based on a NES game, apparently. The honeycomb / bee
screen is OK as an ending but by no means great.
-
Brendan Phoenix: Trying to think of a bee
inspired pun to say how poor this game ending is.
Not the poorest just very bland and unoriginal. A
has-BEEn of an ending.
Pah.

Beehave! Well, get ready for some of my apollen
puns...
Well this ending didn't beewitch or beedazzle me.
It's beeyond boring. Maybe they lined up a good
ending, but ran out of memory so had to switch to
plan bee? It should bee noted that this is an
insectnifigant ending that won't give you a buzz,
it's completely bee-reft of any excitement. Alas,
I'm starting to drone and bumble on...
FINAL SAY:
It's a
fitting little ending that complements the game.
