I (the Webmaster aka Vinny Mainolfi) have spent the past month or so trying to complete this damn game; I have even got to the final boss (Drax) but just couldn't work out how to kill him!

Enter Matthew Rogers with a ROM image of the game that places the hero a few screens away from the end, along with the solution to kill Drax! Low and behold, Matthew was SPOT ON!

So after following Matthews advice and completing the game, I converted the ending into a .PRG file, ZIPPED it and added it to this site for your enjoyment ...

"Prepare to meet your maker!"

Drax's Head: "What are you doing up there?! Get back down here!"

"Careful!"

"Quick, GET HIM!"

Barbarian: "Ahhhhhh ... bugger"

Drax: "nur-nur"

HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?: Well, Matthew told me that he used a version of the game with all the cheats (that's my boy). I too used a cracked version with all the cheats c(",)

SO WHAT HAPPENS?: Once you get to the final screen, you have to chop Drax's head off by standing where the corpse is chained, and perform a spinning head-chop (thanks for the advice, Matthew).

Drax's head goes flying in the air and rolls onto the ground. His body then turns and picks up his head where he places it back into position and pegs it off screen.

Our Barbarian hero sees Drax making a quick exit and proceeds to catch him up. Suddenly, Drax's head appears from the doorway and laughs at our hero before disappearing!

Our hero is left standing with the words, "WELL DONE. YOU WIN" at the foot of the screen. A typical Richard Joseph end tune plays and the game comes to a close.

COMMENTS: Though this game ending has an average score, it is quite pleasing to watch. I was surprised that it had this little humorous ending and I am sure you will be too.
