> ASTRO MARINE CORPS by Dinamic

• Completed & Reviewed by Neil Collins

Astro Marine Corps is another fiasco by Dinamic. Just like many of their other side-scrolling releases, this one is just as boring and seriously lacking in action. The graphics are ok, but the game play is non existent. The usual rules apply - blast a lot of things, walk right, blast more, walk some more and so on... until you reach the final bad guy at the end of level two... Zzzzz zz  z    z

The final level is complete.

The End!

HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?: Using an infinite lives cheat.

SO WHAT HAPPENS?: After blasting the final robot at the end of the final level for a while, he finally goes up in flames. You then get a black screen with the main character shown in the centre with the words 'YOU SUCCEED IN YOUR MISSION. THE DEATHBRINGERS HAVE BEEN TERMINATED', written in small text above him. The game then ends.

COMMENTS:

  • Neil: Dinamic produce more garbage. Stay well clear of this nonsense. 2/10.

  • Vinny: Here's one of those games that at first glance looks pretty good, but as soon as you move the joystick it's obvious that it's a pile of cack... a bit like the ending! 1.5/10 from me.
  • Andy Vaisey: An all round crappy game, ending included.
  • Andrew Fisher: Not a very dynamic ending is it?

Not a fan of the company's games in general, even the ones other people rave about (Army Moves).

FINAL SAY: Junk. Rubbish from start to finish.

G.E. RATING: 2 / 10
