Ant Attack is a classic "3D game" by Quiksilva. I
used to love playing this game as a kid. The playing
area consists of some unique and beautiful 3D towers and
buildings. My friend had a great poster of this, which I
think came free with a magazine. The aim of the game is
to make ten trips into the ant infested area and rescue
the person that is trapped. You can play the part of a
boy or a girl, with the trapped person being the
opposite sex to that of which you choose as the hero.
You can fire at the ants and jump on their backs to
paralyze them, with their stationary bodies coming in
handy as a stepping stone to reach higher ledges. It's
great fun to play and has an eerie atmosphere to it. I
was addicted to this game on the Spectrum, which I
completed. I was eager to find out how the C64 version
ended. I have to say that this is one game that I prefer
on the Spectrum. The C64 version seems to be lacking
something. Either way it's a classic game. Sandy White
is a legend !

YAAAAAY :)

The End.
HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?:
I used an infinite lives cheat.
SO WHAT HAPPENS?:
Once you have returned safely to the city outskirts for
the tenth time you get the usual "CONGRATULATIONS"
message. The screen then strobes various colours and a
small message appears at the bottom of the screen
reading 'AT LAST YOUR MISSION IS OVER!' The game is
then complete.
FINAL SAY:
Gutted about this one. The game and the ending are
better on the Spectrum. Shhhhh... don't tell anyone.
Let's forget about it and move swiftly on.
