Agent X II is a three part game by Mastertronic.
This budget game was one of the few that I completed as
a kid. I couldn't remember the ending, so I thought I'd
give it another bash a few decades later. You need
passwords to access the levels which are given at the
end of each level. The final level is a breakout/arkanoid
clone where the evil professor sits high above you
amongst the coloured bricks. You have to destroy the
blocks to expose a small gap at the top of the wall that
protects the evil professor. Once you rebound the ball
into this hole, the game is complete. Overall, you can't
really complain about this game. It's three mini games
for a few quid. The graphics and sound are good too, so
it was a worthwhile purchase back in the days of it's
release.

The final level is
complete!

The End.
HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?:
I simply played it through. I reduced the emulation
speed on the last level to make it a bit easier. Took a
while though.
SO WHAT HAPPENS?:
Once you have completed level three, you get a black
screen with some red writing. The writing reads
'Congratulations Agent X. You have saved the world'. The
game then ends.
FINAL SAY: Very dull ending. The game was
multiload, so they could have put an ending in there.
Waste of time this one.
