I used to love watching the repeats of The Addams
Family on Channel 4 (and the movies) way back in the 80s, and so hearing
the news that Ocean Software was going to release a game
involving the family's antics, I was waiting with bated
breath. Needless to that I shouldn't have bothered
wasting my hard earned cash and just stuck with the TV
programme and movies :-( The game was a total disaster on the C64
and just proved that the C64's commercial life had had
its day. Saying that, I enjoyed the Amiga and Megadrive
versions :-)
Anyway, thanks to Seb for
supplying the following ending ...

And so all the family
members are safe. The End.
HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?:
I'm not quite sure how Seb completed this one, but I do
know there are a few cracked versions out there that
allow you to skip levels and also give you infinite
lives / energy.
SO WHAT HAPPENS?:
Sebatianos: 'The ending is just the same as any
part of the game in between... It's the same as rescuing
any other member of the family (it just says that now
you rescued all of them and it congratulates you).' The message reads,
"CONGRATULATIONS YOU MANAGED TO RESCUE ALL OF YOUR
FAMILY".
COMMENTS: This
really is a poor game ending and it looks as if the
programmers just couldn't be bothered to create
something extra special for us all to see - at least
some real acknowledgement of completing the game :-(
FINAL SAY : Sebatianos:
'It's really disappointing'
